Xbox Live question / problem.

I have an original black beauty xbox a buddy of mine just gave me... I want to create a Live account to play some Halo 2 for old times sake.If I buy a Xbox Live 360 subscription at the store, will that code work when I enter it in the ''Create New Account'' menu(s) on the Original Xbox?I've never had a Live account before (old or new). Is this the way to go about it? Or, is there a better way to create a brand new Live account on the original xbox?Any advice?Thanks.jj.Xbox Live question / problem.
No its not going to work. but if you do buy one and try it and it doesnt work just use it on your 360Xbox Live question / problem.
if you make a gamertag using the original xbox, you have to buy a membership for the original xbox. Because you HAVE to have a credit card on the original, thats why the Xbox360 codes wont work for it.

[/QUOTE]Some stores still sell them, though they are getting much harder to find.[/QUOTE]I just talked to tech support, they said if I go and buy an Xbox Live Gold Starter Kit, that code will work on my old xbox, as long as I have a valid credit card...But everyone seems to be saying otherwise ... I don't want to buy the kit, have it not work, then not be able to return it for a refund... :(
