I'm gonna definitely get one of these. Which do you think will be better?RB 2 vs. GH World Tour
rockband2 im getting it because i hav my intruments from rockband 1 and that game is epic...EPIC!!!!!RB 2 vs. GH World Tour
rock band 2, GH is a sell out franchise and i'm done with it.
World tour has some extra features, it all matters on which setlist you prefer
im going for GH its much harder RB ist to easy for me if they make RB 2 harder then i will have to get both
im gonna go with rock band. i already have the instruments and i think the setlist will be better.
i say GH World Tour. GH, to me, has been better than RB.
You cant really compare these games until you hear more about RB 2, but i will most likely get RB.
It may be a narow view, but I don't care. Whichever game has Dream Theater (GH has already said Dream Theater will be included) will be the game I get. Of course I could just get both of them. I guess that would depend on how cool the new instruments of RB2 will be.
exactly you really cant choose between the two until you know more about RB:2 besides RB:2 needs to pull something better then GHWT since in GHWT you can make your own music and put it out on the marketplace for everyone to download for now im getting GHWT since i know it will be hard besides RB was good but not the best they could of done so much more with it
Im probably getting both but since my birthday is October 3rd and Rock Band 2 is released in September, Ill be getting Rock Band 2 first. Probably getting Guitar Hero 4 at Christmas, and Im picking up Guitar Hero 3 this week.Edit- Im just getting the stand-alone Rock Band 2 game, since I have the first games instruments and play constantly.
Rock Band 2. I have the instruments from Rock Band 1, and the setlist will be kick-arse.
Im getting guitar hero because it's way more challenging and fun. I play rock band with my friends but even on expert it's really easy(like aerosmith...)but since there's a diverse setlist GHWT will be awesome. And the drums look sick, the symbols are gonna be sweet. Rock bands are cool only because they are the only ones but they're just 4 pads and a base. With pads, a base, and symbols GHWT's will be much cooler unless RB2's step it up. Also the note shapes in RB really annoyed me. The small rectangles were terrible IMO and GH's circles are easier to see.
Rock Band 2 beause of all the dlc
Rock Band 2. I have the instruments from Rock Band 1, and the setlist will be kick-arse.
Rumor= I heard theyre having 300 songs lol.
For people saying Rock Band on Expert is easy- You should come to my house and beat the last setlist on Guitar Expert for me :) I cant get through the solo's  lol.
Rock band 2 has 120 songs on the disk, backwards compatible DLC, new dlc every week, online band world tour, and more to be announced..... epic win for rock band 2.
Which ever game allows you to make your own song (With ease is key) will undoubtedly come out on top. There's alot of uncertainty with games now a days, but i think this is one of the few safe bets. Look at how many topics there are arguing about what songs they should and shouldn't put on. You got the emo fans on the verge of tears and the heavy metal guys on the brink of growing their hair out a la Poison, on what songs should be included. That said, If they can make a feature to create your own songs (Me personally, i would spend days making Incubus, YellowCard, and 311 songs) and do it in a user friendly manner, that will be the better game. Tailor to the gamer and what they want and you will have a strong product.Think of it this way. How many songs on Rockband or GH do you never play cause you might personally dont like them. FOr me atleast half of the songs on RB (DLC included) i can't stand.
On GH when you make your own song you can only make instrumentals instead of the real song for copyright purpose.I have to do with RB2 because I have lots of DLC songs for RB.
Rock Band. It's more multiplayer-friendly when compared to past Guitar Heroes, so it already is in a better light for the multiplayer.Plus, those who already have the first Rock Band already saved $100+ by not buying instruments.
