Hey guys. I'm thinking about connecting my 360 with the ethernet cable to my internet modem through the wall between my bedroom and my computer room. And buying Live-time for a year (60euros here in Finland) and get playing multiplayer, I love it. But, the thing is: I don't usually buy games the same month they come out, cause I can't afford to do it, so I buy some older great games that have gotten a bit cheaper, and wait for the current great games to get cheaper and then I buy them. (Though I will pre-order BIA Hell's Highway:P) So the QUESTION here is: Do awesome games have players on XBL after a few months? If not, I should not even get XBL cause I'm always a bit behind everyone else. For example, does R6Vegas 2 or R6Vegas 1 have any players nowadays?? people still play marvel ultimate alliance, so yea you can always find ppl to play with, as well the friends you make on one game may also have the older games, im still looking for more for marvel ultimate allicance for 4 player achivements
You don't really have to worry about that there are more people than you could imagine on XBL. I still find people to play BF:MC with on my PS2 so I don't think you will have any problems with the 360.
People will usually always be playing older games, but a few times I have seen nobody, however that was rare. Also people say Live is expensive, but it is not as expensive as you would think, 60 bucks U.S. for a year.
get XBL. theirs like 6.5 million people that have Xbox Live. Im sure your bound to find people to play with. Just dont get Frogger XBLA or Poker Smash, cus no one is ever online in those games.
dont forget that 2 great games such as gears of war and halo 3 are cheap and are 2 out of 3 (the other being cod4) most played games on live.

Halo 3, Gears Of War and Call Of Duty are some great games that are still full of players that have been out for ages.
Yeah, go for it. There are still loads of people on old games like CoD nowadays and you can still chat to friends, download things and have fun without ever going onto a game. Why not try the 30 day trial and see if you like it?

Shooters like Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War and a lot of others will have people playing online on them til the end of time.
Most games, if they have a decent multiplayer) will have enough players for about a year. Any game with great multiplayer will keep going. Gears of War being proof. It's been almost two years since it came out yet it's still one of the most played XBL games.
