Halo 3 and the Sniper Rifle. What happen ...

Well, I haven't played Halo 3 a lot since i got COD4, but a couple days ago i decided to pop it into my 360 tray and give it a go. First game was team slayer on Guardian, It was just like old times, I lost, but who cares, it was fun. Next game, Shotty Snipes on Narrows, great, i thought to myself. The game starts, i get sniped a couple times, so i switched to my shotty, and decided to get up close, now this is when i realized that somewhere in my 3 months of absence from the game, the Sniper Rifle has become the new close combat weapon. Every time i shoot someone, it was as if they wouldn't feel a thing, they'd just turn around and shoot and score a headshot on me.I then looked around and saw that the shotty was barely being used by anyone else, everyone was sniping eachother from a meter away. Well it was just one game, maybe that guy had a lucky shot or maybe he was good at no scoping. I mean, sometimes I am able to pull off a quick headshot or lucky headshot with a sniper. Halo 3 and the Sniper Rifle. What happen ...

Yeah, some people are ridiculous. I'm pretty decent with no scopes but Halo does get annoying. That's why I've been sticking to COD because I hardly ever lose when my friends and I play together. But when we play Halo we get owned over and over again.
