gta4- niko drowned??

i was trying to get away from the cops by swimming and after i while i lost them, i started swimming back to shore then all the sudden die for seemingly no reason, there was no boats or anything nearby ..nothing at all. did i drown? i had been swimming for quite a while but i mean wdf..and i didnt even like go underwater before the monochrome death screen put its curse on my tv. (before i died) niko has a really bad stamina...gta4- niko drowned??
im pretty sure i drowned before but that was because i got under a dock. i bet u just drowned cus of low stamina.........his stamina really does suckgta4- niko drowned??
I heard you could get attacked by a shark in the game if youre in the water too long :lol:
If you drive into a body of water and don't get out of the car you'll drown.
This was in one of the older GTA games, cant remenber which one

I don't know. I only drowned because I got stuck under the dock a couple times.
You drown when you accelerate I think...I mean his head is constantly underwater
