My 360 got RROD. I've done nothing to cause this, it's perfectly ventilated just as it has been since December 2005 when I got it. That's not even the worst part; remember that 3 year warranty which MS so kindly gave us 360 owners last year? Well apparently it doesn't count for the most hardcore fans who purchased the 360 early on - so basically, even though my warranty would technically still be valid, Microsoft would rather charge me ?0 ($100 approx) for a repair which was their fault anyway. Where does this multi-billion dollar corporation get off on charging a 17 year old that much money for a repair which should be free? [/QUOTE] 3 red rings is covered for 3 years so if they are trying to charge you tell them you will take them to trading standards...And i had a 360 from the very first day it launched in the UK and i got 3 red rings at the beginning of this year and they fixed mine for free??
