I Hate You Snipers!!!!

So I was playing Battlefield BC multiplayer and my character joins the fray. He spawns, looks around a bit, scratches his butt a couple of times and pop he gets sniped! I just wanna say that you guys who like to just snipe other players have a serious Lee Boyd Malvo complex. Get Help!I Hate You Snipers!!!!

Second that. Try something new for a change. How you can sit in the same spot just looking left to right praying there is someting to shoot, is beyond my comprehension.........

Snipers do suck but also have their purposes. If you want to beat snipers this is what you do, I haven't played Bad Company yet, but I'm assuming this will work. In COD4 there a lot of snipers. I find the best way to counteract them is to memorize all of the camping/sniping spots. Now once you have done that, if your the run 'n gun type of player, like I am, during your run arounds of the map during games, frequently check out those sniper spots. Usually they won't even know your there until it's too late. You hate snipers, but I love them. Snipers = free kills.

Snipers really only serve a purpose on the defend side, cause you can eliminate the attackers easily while diminishing their respawns. Attacking snipers are supposed to cover the gold and kill the opposing snipers without getting killed and lowering the respawn bar. I really only snipe when I'm on defense, cause IMO when I snipe on the attacker side its pointless, because while I'm back millions of feet from the gold, my squad is always up there running around owning every defender before I can manage to snipe them.

I agree it is harder to memorize sniper locations on these games, but from what I've noticed most times when I play the battlefield games there are general areas where snipers will set up shop. Like for instance (it could have just been bad players) I was playing Battlefield 2 on xbox live last night and we were having a constant battle over a flag with the other team, and they would always pop a different sniper over and over again in the same spot near the flag. I see most snipers get a lot of kills in a area, and then continue to go to it over and over again, and not just in Battlefield.
maybe you shouldn't just stand around when you spawn.... and spawn with your squad instead of at your base to try to avoid them. In BF games, there's always another way. And it's not like sniping in BC is super easy ''point and click'' like in COD; sniping takes skill and practice to master in BC and if you got owned by him being a good shot, you gotta give him props for his skill.

On the contrary... Snipers are quite effective, and usefull... I just find it a little cheap how some people snipe... I also just can't see myself sitting around in the same spot throughout an entire game... I'm the type of person who just runs around blowing down walls, and shooting people... I normally get about 5 kills or so before I die just running around..........

Im a sniper. I snipe in Cod4 and BF2 for the PC. I played BF BC on my friends box, and was awsome at sniping.
wtf is up with the sniper complaints. when i get sniped i don't QQ on GS forums, i find their ass and take em down. lrn2play :P
Snipers are practically in all FPS multiplayer's game and they are rarely use for defense purposes. This are people you like to hide and pick off other players just for the hell of it. A coward way of obtaining cheap kills.

I'm a run 'n gun guy too, I rarely snipe. I used to find sniping fun because it was like toying with your opponent watching them before killing them, but today's games are more run 'n gun based, plus I can't sit there either. I also find that when I sit there and try to snipe, for instance during a Free For All in COD4, it takes too much time to get kills and I end up losing the match because of it.

A sniper can kill attackers before they even get to your base --- extremely effective for defense. It's the same idea with archers in medieval times. Reach them before they can reach you. It's simple strategy.

I actually enjoying sniping on BF Demo. it just release stress, when u see another sniper, and u snipe their head first. or see someone just wondering around, and snipe them.
