Transfering data from a old 360 to a new ...

I am going to buy a new 360 elite soon because I am buying a high def tv and I want to have HDMI output. My question is how do i transfer my account info as well as my downloads and game saves to the new system? Is there an easy way or is it a pain in the arse?Transfering data from a old 360 to a new ...
  1. Well I had the same problem. You have to get a hard drive transfer kit that doesnt come with the Elite. You have to get it off the xbox site or something like that. You just plug it in from the elites harddrive into the back of your old xbox. I just used memory cards to transfer my saves and xbla games, videos, etc. And you can just recover your gamertag on the elite.
  2. Heres the link that tells you about it. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/console/datamigration.htm
I just dont know where to get one. Sorry. Maybe google around and amazon.com might have it or something.Transfering data from a old 360 to a new ...
