Quantaum of Solace, the Goldeneye of tod ...

It's been a while since we've had a good James Bond first person shooter, think this will be any good?Quantaum of Solace, the Goldeneye of tod ...
we will have to wait to even see some gameplay vids before we can even say it looks good. However the screenshots are very nice.Quantaum of Solace, the Goldeneye of tod ...
treyarch is making the game and look at their track record...

Keep in mind I wasnt a gamer then, I dont even know if I was born before it came out (1991) so I never played it untill last year and I thought it was horrible.

By todays standards Goldeneye isnt that Impressive but when it came out it was awesome, I probaly wouldnt enjoy it now though but i wont bother playing it again ill just keep the good memories
it may not look like an xbox 360 game, with HD resolution and a spotfree control scheme, but how many hours did you sit around playing multiplayer with your friends, talking trash about how much better you were at that game? i know i spent plenty. that game was the reason i BOUGHT a 64.but back to the TC, i dont know that we will ever have another ''goldeneye..'' today is flooded with countless copycat FPSs, so the chances of that game being recreated...in Bond style or otherwise... is few and far between IMO. thats not to say it wont be great in its own right, but something about the original was pure...something i dont think we'll see ever again.we'll just have to wait and see.

Don't think something sucks just because it's old.

yes, you were - goldeneye was released in 1995 and the game was in 1997, but yeah you were definitely too young to have played it well when it first came out

Pshhh I still go back and play Goldeneye with my roomates. Its fun even though the graphics are horrible compared to such games today like Gears of War and Oblivion. Heck I still play mario for the regular nintendo and Ocarina of Time for the N64.
The game sure is looking good, but there is no way of knowing how it will turn out.

its not really the graphics its the fact that you have to play single-analog style i mean i've tried playing goldeneye 007 on PJ64 with an Xbox 360 controller - i'll tell you it ain't easy at all to aim
treyarch has a good track record and matt is right, call of duty 3 is not as good as 4 but that dosent make it a bad game and call of duty 2 big red one is not as good as call of duty 2 but its still average and it dosent suck so what other games are you talking about?
*GASP* Lies! All Lies! Goldeneye 64 is one of the best FPS/movie-based shooters of all-time. How dare you!
I enjoyed Nightfire. Anyway, I sure hope that it won't be rushed movie-tie in.
I've never played a good treyarch game so I don't anticipate QoS being particularly good.
The game shifts between FPS and TPS, you can't really say it's the Goldeneye of today because there's nothing confirmed about the multiplayer. The single player sounds like it's shaping up to be good and if it's anything like Everything or Nothing on the PS2 than I'll check this out day one.
