Monolith Battle: Condemned vs. F.E.A.R

I'm a huge fan of both series, monolith has done a great job on both games, yet which one do you feel is the better game, condemned or fear?Also, feel free to list the scariest games youve ever played. For me it would have to be-1) Fatal Frame (only survival horror game i literally could not finish)2/3) Tie between original Condemned and Silent Hill 24) Doom 35) FearNoteworthy other games are condemned 2 and the suffering. And as for the original question, i think im a bigger fan of condemned, but project origin may just change my mind. Monolith Battle: Condemned vs. F.E.A.R
F.E.A.R. owsn the living hell out of condemned..condemned just gets too repetitive...also resident evil remake for GC was way scarier that any of those games youve mentionedMonolith Battle: Condemned vs. F.E.A.R
I loved em both.But condemned is my pick, cause its not just another shooter. Resident evil 2, when the zombie hands bust through the walls, you guys didnt sh*t yourselves?The way beginning of SH 4, and the first part of SH2 were scary. But really, in every horror game, once you start aquiring tons of guns and healing items, the games just arent that scary, cause your giving the player too much power.Thats why I liked condemned, cause you had to really fight your way through, no ammo.
i find it interesting that you say condemned is repetitive because fear is just as repetitive with its never ending supply of generic cloned soldiers and its never ending spree of indoor environments that look identical to the previous. Not meaning to trash on fear because i love that game but its just as repetitive as the original condemned, yet condemned 2 isnt repetitive at all.
I'm gonna say F.E.A.R just because it was a much scarier game in my opinion
I like condemned because I like things that do with law, and it's more realistic. But i like fear as well, which at times can be pretty scary.... no, not scary, just weird. On scare terms, i think from a scale of 1-10 that condemned gets an 8 and fear gets a 7. love both games.
Condemned: Criminal Origins on either the Xbox360 or PC were great games and Condemned 2: Bloodshot is a great game too on the Xbox360, as for F.E.A.R. it really sucked on the Xbox360 but it was really great on PC.
So since this is an Xbox360 forum I would say that the Condemned games are the best for sure, but if this was the PC forum then I would say that it is a tie.
Overall for either Xbox360 or PC I would say that the Condemned games is the better of both games.
I have both and i have to say that Condemned is the scariest game ive ever played.
F.E.A.R. And the scariest thing I've ever seen on a game is when you're climbing down that ladder on F.E.A.R. and the girl is there...I almost pissed myself.
F.E.A.R. FTW !!its more scary , fun and more inteligent than Condemned !
Never played F.E.A.R. so I think it would be unfair for me to vote. SO I didnt. Still..........CONDEMNED is the isssh.
I though Condemend one was good because it scared the **** out of me. But Condemend two didn't scare me at all. F.E.A.R on the other hand was scaring, not quite as scary as Condemend one but was still scary and fun. I vote for F.E.A.R but their both pretty decent.
F.E.A.R. isn't even scary compared to Condemned...Condemned 2 on the other hand was horrible.
I voted for F.E.A.R. It's one of my favorite FPS's. I've beat it on extreme. I love activating slow-mo and killing someone with the shotgun at point blank. Very messy. Looking forward to Project Origin.Condemned was the first 360 game I ever played. Launch day 2005. I'd say Condemned is scarier than F.E.A.R but F.E.A.R is the overall better game.
